@Brande Midgett-Crosby and I finished this one yesterday, but we feel bad because that was the first time we had worked on it!

I'm posting this on behalf Brian Furry:
Due to the USPS mail restrictions during the All-Star game (Mon-Wed) we will have our mail picked up by a service since we are not sure if the post office will pick up. Mail will need to be brought to the 4th floor before 2:30pm on each of those days.
We have not heard of any changes to UPS but to be safe, please have all shipments to the mail room by 2:30pm.
Thanks
Brian Furry

@John Dorhauer I missed this yesterday, but I'll be back tomorrow! Plenty left after my re-stock!

PS: I try not to miss an opportunity to tour the wastewater treatment plant! It's truly fascinating and helps you understand better the way we interact with our water resources locally.

I kinda love Deadbolt and Stranglehold, myself! But I'd probably go with Tom Noodle or Tom Glitter or Ringo Shuffles because those are hilarious!

I agree! It's a cool area! We've gone to this festival when it was called SquareFest and always had a great time!

Unfortunately, I was sick and my boyfriend Tim did it alone. I was so bummed, because I like attending it, too! Also unfortunate, he sold one photo, I sold none. 😞

My boyfriend Tim and I will be showing and selling our photography this weekend at the Summit Stagefest in Akron! I realize this is competing with Cleveland PRIDE, but maybe come on down to Akron after the festivities! We'll be there 11:00am-5:00pm!
Summit StageFest brings together theater groups from all over Northeast Ohio for a free celebration of live performance, art, and food in the heart of Akron’s eclectic Highland Square neighborhood. This year's event will feature more than 25 performance groups, 140 artists and exhibitors, food trucks, costumed characters, and fun for those of every age.

Oh, sorry I missed this! I gave mine away as an act of LOVE to a donor who very desperately wanted one at the last Synod.

Yes, I do! Running low, though!

I'm not a fan of the coffee we brew on each floor in the kitchens. We've been using the same coffee for a long time. I'm wondering if anyone else feels like we need a change. Let us know in the survey!

Update! In addition to the varieties listed above, I now have Malley's Crunch bars! They are like Nestle' Crunch bars, with the crispy rice in them, but with Malley's delicious chocolate!
Only $1 in my office!!!

@Chris Gabriel That little tiny turtle! Oh my heart! Do you know what kind of snake that is in your picture? I'm curious because I have caught 2 of those at different times in my yard/woods. They were just as small, too. But I don't know what kind they are.

I've still got chocolate! Malley's! It's only $1 and better than the vending machine!

Great idea! I'll have to search through my stuff and see what I have!

I use a "Sticky Note" app on my desktop for important things to remember, like often-used email addresses and phone numbers, "to do" lists, my goals, etc. It's mainly to keep the "to do" list in front of me, although I also use a whiteboard in my office. I use a Mac, but I imagine there's a sticky note app for PC. They're just like little sticky notes and I can move them around the desktop, color code them, and make them as long or short as I want.

I love this idea! Got to remember to bring some in!

We had a couple of puzzles up here on 7, and it was really a nice break for folks, plus a bit of bonding for us. Great idea!

I was just thinking this morning how refreshing it has been that since I went back to my maiden name, no one has called me "Darcy." Somehow people kept calling me "Darcy" when my name was Marcy Dory. Some people have a hard time with Gansler. It's kinda like "Gangster" if that helps. Just no g and the t is an L.
My kid's name is constantly butchered. His name is Zakhar. People love to call him Zack, and I keep telling teachers and others that he won't respond to that because we don't call him Zack. We already have a Zack in the family so we've been careful not to call him that. So, we call him "Z" or "Zakhar." I don't even bother trying to correct people with the spelling!
And if you're like, "Why did you give him that name??" Well, I didn't. We adopted Zakhar from Russia when he was 1 year old. Zakhar was the name his birth mother gave him and we kept it. It's essentially the Russian form of Zachary. But don't call him Zack, please. 🙂
