Wish I could join - I had so much fun working on my cross stitch piece over lunch with the group last week!
Did you finish it up before you got back home?

I keep forgetting it's Wednesdays! I didn't bring anything today. And also I need to find a project. Hopefully I'll join you next week (we have Board meetings this week, so it's a little hectic!)
Bring a project and just leave it in your office. It can be your work project!

Do you knit, crochet, or do some other needle craft? Come and join us!
A group of needlecrafters will begin meeting on Wednesdays at noon in the Mezzanine for lunch.
Bring your lunch and whatever needle craft you're working on. Perhaps we can learn a thing or two from one another, or at least enjoy some good company.
We'll start meeting next Wednesday. (I won't be there, but I think a few others might be.)

I shall plan to regale you with a story or two, even if you don't have any goodies left to give away.

@Marcy Gansler I need to check out all the conversations and decide which one I'd like to attend and then figure out if my husband is interested to know if we need to try to get a babysitter. A babysitter might be challenging since it's on Sunday and our usual babysitters will likely be at church.
@Cheryl Williams Yes, I find that disappointing as well. But I'm willing to skip church if there is a conversation I want to attend. I'll look at is as an opportunity to be the church instead of attend church.

The Cleveland Foundation is sponsoring Common Ground conversations on June 30. I know most of you will just be returning from General Synod for those that might be interested. Oh, and this is free!
Let me provide a caveat that I have not attended this in the past, but am perusing the scheduled topics to see if I can make it this year.
Check out https://commongroundcle.org/ for details.
There's a conversation about cultural competency, cutting plastic out of your life, the new home of the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, creating equitable teaching environments, a craft beer conversation, and many more. It appears there are more than 50 conversations scheduled!
If you're planning to attend share with us about the one you've registered for.

Thanks to the Intercultural Relations committee for an amazing brunch for Pride Month!
I don't think I'll need dinner tonight after all that food.

If I were a cat person, definitely Sweet Cakes.
My son would argue want to go with Dr Fart. The joys of a little boy!

@Marcy Gansler Do you still have the dark chocolate pretzel bars? If so, I'll swing by tomorrow, if you're in to get another.

I'm eager to learn about all the new features we have available to in Office 365!
Like Cheryl, I'm an avid fan of One Note. I have notebooks for projects. I can easily see all my current project (with notes filed under them), upcoming projects, and dream projects. I also keep a notebook for meetings. I try to take my computer to my meetings so I can take notes directly in One Note. And then I can flag tasks that I need to do and they appear in my Outlook Task List.
Like Heather, I flag emails that need follow up later.
My best tip that hasn't yet been mentioned is that I have created a second calendar in Outlook to plan my day. All my meetings go on my main calendar so folks can schedule meetings with me easily. I review my task list at the end of each day and try to schedule all the tasks into my "scheduling" calendar for the following day. I overlay this with my meeting calendar so I see my full day. It helps keep me on task and ensures I have allotted time in my day to accomplish what needs to be accomplished.

I think I've been pronouncing Mike's last name wrong for many years!
