Sorry I'm late to the table and late to the conversation. But I'm so appreciative of every colleague here - not just for the work you each do, but for WHO you are!

For those interested and in Cleveland, Cleveland Restaurant Week 2020 starts today, and there are a bunch of really great restaurants included this year like Lola, Blue Point and Mabel's - largely offering lunch at $15 and dinner at $30. However one or two, like the Chocolate Bar, are offering two-for's - lunch for two for $15. Full list of restaurants, including menus, here:

Enjoy!

@Destiny Hisey yes, I understand. For me, though, even aside from church it grows increasingly challenging to find time for sabbath on Sunday with so many community events, academic events, youth sports, and professional sports now finding schedule time on Sundays. Ah well....

I caught John this morning styling in his new Custom Converse shoes! It gave me time to learn more about Converse's Custom Pride shoes, and the fact that you can design your Converse's just like you like them! Just my luck that I found this out right after I just brought a new pair of plain old all stars 🤨 . One step ahead John?!

I really love the notion of the Common Ground conversations, but I'm disappointed that so many of these are scheduled for Sunday mornings and Sunday early afternoons. I'm sure the Cleveland Foundation has a rationale for doing so (surely they know that some people attend church on Sundays), and maybe they're zoning in on audiences that don't who might be looking for other opportunities. Not sure, but seems odd to me.

Hilarious! I think I'd opt for Lillith the Vamp or Ringo Shuffles.

So sorry I missed this Marcy; this is one of my favorite Akron festivals in one of my favorite Akron neighborhoods. Hope you sold a lot of photos!

I agree with you Marcy, believing we're overdue for a change.

Sorry, Rachel; I looked through the bookshelves in my office (in case I had inherited one and didn't know it 😉) and don't have it.
