Does anyone know what time of day the NYE YouTube video premiere and live chat will begin on Sunday, May 31?

Hmmm... The Singers' Club is developing a way for all of us in the chorus to rehearse at home. Maybe there's some potential there. You don't want to hear me sight-read. But maybe once things get polished up ...

Never mind! This March 13 concert has been canceled 🙁...
… in response to coronavirus concerns and the Ohio governor's request that spectator events, such as sports and concerts, be curtailed. If the concert is rescheduled, I'll let you know. Thanks, all, for your interest. 🎟️🎼🎶

Colleagues: I sing baritone in The Singers' Club of Cleveland. At 7:30 this Friday evening, March 13, we're joining two high school ensembles in a concert at Cleveland Heights High School. I hope you'll come hear us! It's free, but only if you get a ticket voucher from my office door, Room 223 (see attached). Hope to see you there!

1 hour ago, Destiny Hisey said:@Hans Holznagel Can you tell us about the two blue flags?
The nearest flag is that of the United Nations. The Farthest is a "flag of earth" -- a design not representing any particular movement, as far as I know, though I guess some folks use it in conjunction with Earth Day. I picked both of those up, by the way, at a really great exhibit table at the 2005 annual meeting of the Southeast Conference, UCC.

Just F.Y.I., my first name, Hans, rhymes with "sconce" (not "hands"). My last name, ending in "nagel," rhymes with "toggle" (not "bagel"). But I'll answer to anything!
How about yours? 😀

Long lost painting. Have you seen it?

Colleagues, a friend of mine -- the Rev. Grant Sontag, a former national staff colleague now living in California -- left a painting at the 700 Prospect Avenue Church House in the 1990s. He would love to have it back if anyone has seen it. His description of it is below. It once hung in his 3rd-floor office, and, later, apparently, in a conference room (floor unknown). If you've seen it -- or if you claimed it in last fall's move and would be willing to part with it -- let me know here (or by email) and I'll connect you with Grant. I explained to him that, by now, finding it will be a long shot after last fall's rounds of giveaways to the staff and the public.
"The painting is of the Last Supper, in autumnal colors, with the disciples seated Asian style in a circle around a table with their sandals off and waiting to one side. It was a gift to me by the artist, Nalini Jayasuriya, one-time Sri Lankan representative on the WCC. She was an artist in residence at Yale during my time at the Div. school in the 1980s."
