  1. Colleagues, a friend of mine -- the Rev. Grant Sontag, a former national staff colleague now living in California -- left a painting at the 700 Prospect Avenue Church House in the 1990s. He would love to have it back if anyone has seen it. His description of it is below. It once hung in his 3rd-floor office, and, later, apparently, in a conference room (floor unknown). If you've seen it -- or if you claimed it in last fall's move and would be willing to part with it -- let me know here (or by email) and I'll connect you with Grant. I explained to him that, by now, finding it will be a long shot after last fall's rounds of giveaways to the staff and the public.

"The painting is of the Last Supper, in autumnal colors, with the disciples seated Asian style in a circle around a table with their sandals off and waiting to one side. It was a gift to me by the artist, Nalini Jayasuriya, one-time Sri Lankan representative on the WCC. She was an artist in residence at Yale during my time at the Div. school in the 1980s."

  2. Never mind! This March 13 concert has been canceled 🙁...

… in response to coronavirus concerns and the Ohio governor's request that spectator events, such as sports and concerts, be curtailed. If the concert is rescheduled, I'll let you know. Thanks, all, for your interest. 🎟️🎼🎶
