Anissa Glaser-Bacon 161 Posted February 8, 2022 Love this stand! I have a friend who just got chickens last year too - I may have to find this stand for her. Seeing all the different colors, what kinds of chickes do you have? 1 Link to comment

It's perfect! My OGs (Jersey Giant, Australorps, Speckled Sussex and Lavendar Orpingtons) all lay shades of brown eggs. They are very reliable layers. The copper eggs are from my French Copper Maran, The Blue from my Ameraucana and the little eggs from our Bantams (Cochin, Silkie, and Hamburg). We also have an Easter Egger and a Cream Legbar for blue and green, but they took the winter off (freeloaders)! Link to comment

Anissa Glaser-Bacon 161 Posted February 17, 2022 I sent the picture of the stand to my friend - she loved it! I think I know what I am getting her for a gift soon! SO many different kinds of chickens! That is amazing. When I was home in Maine a couple of weeks ago (during that awful blizzard) I had to help them tarp around their chicken coop to keep the babies safe! Link to comment
